Cotton Candy Twins

This is my entry for ~TokioHotel-Meow12's "Design a Candy OC" in this case it is two twin sisters, I thought the composition lacked when I first drew it, and after many sketches and decisions I could not decide which color combination to choose, so I decided to draw two twins. I ASKED ~TokioHotel-Meow12 FIRST... just to make sure it wasnt against the rules, and she said it was fine

This was so much fun to do!! But it sucked because my B12 marker died in the process and I really needed it TT^TT The hair was especially difficult to choose colors for because I kept wanting to use warmer reds for the pink parts because I have so many "R00 R01 R11...etc" markers and cotton candy itself is a cooler almost purple-ish pink so it took a lot of colored pencil blending to get those pinks

The blue haired one is Kyandi, the japanese word for candy She and her sister are both as sweet as cotton candy She is more expressive and confident than her sister, in a sense more hyper than her sister, which is why Kyandi suits her so well


The pink haired one is named Wataame, meaning Cotton Candy... i wanted to name her "cotton" in japanese but that translates to "Men" which i don't particularly like as a girls name. Wataame is more calm and subdued than her hyper sister, but is truly sweet and giving much like Kyandi.
